Parchwood Partners was established in Bangkok after years spent observing a common pattern: business owners and senior leaders who possessed sharp judgement would routinely face decisions in relative isolation. They had capable teams, sound instincts, and genuine market experience — but no sustained outside perspective to think alongside them.
The practice was built around a different model. Rather than arriving with a framework and departing with a deliverable, we stay. We build understanding of a business through repeated conversation, through the slow accumulation of context, and through the kind of thinking that only becomes possible once a relationship has established its own rhythms.
The name Parchwood draws from the idea of materials that age well — surfaces that develop character through use, that carry the marks of the work done upon them. It is a sensibility we try to bring to our work: patience, texture, and an appreciation for the long form.
Based at 185 Ratchadaphisek Road in Bangkok, we work primarily with businesses operating in Thailand and the wider Southeast Asian region, though the nature of written correspondence means geography matters less than it once did.

How we conduct our work
Strict confidentiality
All client conversations and written correspondence are held in the strictest confidence. We do not discuss client matters with other clients, nor reference engagements without explicit permission.
Clear engagement terms
Before any arrangement begins, we establish clear written terms covering scope, pricing, and expectations. There are no hidden costs, no scope surprises, and no ambiguity about what is included.
Senior-only delivery
Work is delivered by senior consultants throughout. We do not engage junior staff on client work. The person you meet at the beginning of an arrangement is the person doing the thinking alongside you.
Independence of view
We hold no affiliations with vendors, service providers, or other consulting firms that would compromise our independence. Our observations are our own.
Written records
All significant conversations and decisions are followed by written notes shared with the client. The thinking we develop together is documented carefully and returned to over time.
Honest endings
Either party may conclude an arrangement with reasonable notice and without obligation. We believe a consulting relationship held by mutual interest is more valuable than one sustained by contract alone.
